Why Choose Our Microgreens?
Quality is our aim – and nothing beats growing plants in soil as nature intended. We’ve chosen not to use hydroponic methods as although you get faster yields – you sacrifice the nutrient potential of each plant that you grow this way – impacting not just the medicinal qualities, but also the taste of the crop!
Also, by purchasing our greens you are helping to support small-scale, local farmers! This is an employee owned family business, so your purchase has real impact.
What the Science is Finding
Microgreens grown in soil, with added organic nutrient from composted microgreens (in the form of worm-tea, added to the bottom of the trays when watering, so it can be up-taken through the roots) and grown under full spectrum lighting like that of the sun’s beautiful rays – yields the most nutrient dense produce that nature has ever created!
